About VIT Vellore
Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT) was established in 2001. It provides 66 undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the fields of engineering, science, business studies, management, computer science, architecture, design, and commerce. VIT Vellore admission is based on both entrance and merit. The entire campus placement drive is managed by a dedicated placement cell at Vellore Institute of Technology. A total of 7462 students were placed according to the VIT Vellore placements 2022. The average salary, however, was Rs. 8.19 LPA. Students also received 2562 super dream offers and 2907 dream offers.

VIT Vellore Admissions
The university admits students to both undergraduate and graduate programmes. Candidates must apply for VIT Vellore admission by visiting the university’s official website and completing the application form. VITEEE scores are used to determine admission to the B.Tech programme. Candidates must take the VITMEE entrance exam to gain admission to VIT Vellore’s M.Tech and M.C.A programmes. Candidates must pass UCEED and CEED to be admitted to VIT Vellore’s B.Des and M.Des programmes, respectively. The final stage of the admission process consists of document verification and payment of admission fees.
VIT Vellore Scholarships
Meritorious students are eligible for a variety of scholarships from the university. Candidates are awarded VIT Vellore scholarships based on their performance in the State Board, Central Board, or VITEEE. Every year, class winners receive merit scholarships, while economically disadvantaged students receive need-based financial assistance. Meritorious NRI students, foreign students, and M.Tech GATE toppers are also awarded scholarships. Students who excel in sports and games are also eligible for VIT Vellore scholarships. Furthermore, 100% scholarships are awarded to first-year State Board and Central Board students.
VIT Vellore placements
The VIT Vellore placements are overseen by the university’s Career Development Centre (CDC). The VIT Vellore placement cell serves as a link between students and corporations, ensuring that students have the best possible placement opportunities. It is in charge of all VIT Vellore placement-related activities. To train and prepare students for the placement drive, the cell hosts seminars, workshops, and guest lectures by industry experts. The placement cell at VIT Vellore also offers internship opportunities to its students.
VIT Vellore Infrastructure and Facilities
The university has a variety of infrastructure facilities for students and faculty. VIT Vellore’s facilities include separate hostels for boys and girls, each with a variety of amenities. The university library houses a large collection of books, journals, research papers, publications, national and international print and electronic journals. VIT Vellore also has a medical centre where students, staff, and faculty members can get medical help. It has three canteens where students can get healthy and nutritious food at a reasonable price.
