National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela is a public university that was founded in 2002. NIT Rourkela is another name for it. NIT Rourkela Clubs, Committees, and Societies

Student Activity Centre- This is the institute’s central hub for student organisations, activities, events, sports, and recreation.

Cyborg- It is a self-contained unit that caters to students’ interests in robotic control and automation design.

Microsoft Club- Microsoft India established the club as part of an initiative to improve the industry-student interface.

Clubs Spawn and CodeHub- These clubs aim to improve the Institute’s coding culture.

Third Eye is a photography club dedicated to developing talent and teaching fundamental photography mechanics.

Cinematics is NIT’s official film-making club. Rourkela aims to educate interested students about various aspects of filmmaking.

Chitraang- It brings together the institute’s best artists to decorate the campus.

Aakriti is a registered SAC art club that promotes and supports art enthusiasts in various art forms found in India, as well as organising events and workshops.

NIT Rourkela Facilities and Infrastructure

Halls of Residence- The institute provides separate housing facilities for male and female students, as well as basic amenities such as a mess, common rooms, and a gym.

NIT Rourkela Admissions
