About IIT Bombay
The Institute of Technology in India (IIT) Bombay was founded in 1958 in Powai, Mumbai (which used to be called Bombay), with money from outside India. It was the second IIT in all of India. IIT Bombay has a total of 106 courses for undergraduates, graduate students, and people who want to get their Ph.D. Some of the courses offered at IIT Bombay are B.Tech, BS, B.Tech M.Tech and B.Des, M.Tech, M.Sc, Executive M.B.A, and M.Sc Ph.D. The institute also gives scholarships to students who do well in school. The University Grants Commission has given the institute the title of “Institute of Eminence.” IIT Bombay’s campus is 550 acres, and there are 678 faculty members working there. With an overall score of 68.08, IIT Bombay is ranked 10th in the management category of the NIRF Rankings for 2021. In 2020, it was ranked 11th in the same category. IIT Bombay Location
The institute is in the Mumbai neighbourhood of Powai (Bombay). There are buses, trains, and flights that go to and from the campus to the city of Mumbai. IIT Bombay is about 10 km away from the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport. The main campus is about 15 km away from the domestic airport. Central Railway students can get to IIT Bombay by getting off at Kanjur Marg, Vikhroli, or Ghatkopar. If you are taking the Western Railway, the closest stops are Andheri, Bandra, Goregaon, or Malad. Local trains also make it easy to get to and from the campus. Students can get to school by taxi, auto-rickshaw, bus, or local train.
IIT Bombay Courses and Fees
There are undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses at the institute. Engineering, design, management, and many other fields are taught at IIT Bombay. IIT Bombay Admissions
Students can apply for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral courses. Indian Institute of Technology Bombay uses JEE Advanced scores to decide who gets into UG courses other than B.Des. Candidates who pass UCEED can get into the B.Des programme at IIT Bombay. At the graduate level, IIT Bombay lets students into M.Tech., M.Sc., Executive M.B.A., and M.Sc. Ph.D. programmes.
